My grandparents wedding probably wasn't the most expensive marriage. I don't know what it was really like, but she had a simple white dress and there probably wasnt a huge crowd. They most likely got married in one of the small local catholic churches in town.
People werent surprised they were getting married. They were a really attractive couple, and that may have made some people jealous, but no one would ruin it because they were so good together and they had known eachother for a long time. The women mightve worn sundresses and hats, while the men wore their best suits. Maybe they ate a cake that one of my grandmas sisters had baked.
